SAN DIEGO, CA (PRWEB) MARCH 21, 2018

Peachjar, the nation’s leading digital flyer system for more than 12,000 K-12 schools in the US and Canada combined, today announced that Thomas Motter has joined the company as the Vice President of District Relationships. In his role, Thomas has already started establishing, building and expanding relationships with Peachjar's existing and prospective K-12 clients.

“Thomas is a results-oriented leader with global business experience in educational technology,” said Mike Durham, CEO of Peachjar. “With a core focus on managing relationships with more than 500 school districts, Thomas is helping to further our mission of connecting parents to resources that enrich the lives of children. We are proud to have him as a core part of our team.”

As a father and former PTA President in the Los Alamitos Unified School District, Tom stated “Peachjar is an important conduit for school districts and community partners to reach parents and students with life changing programs that foster critical thinking, the love of learning, mental and physical toughness, confidence, and resilience. I’ll continue to work closely with school district Superintendents to better understand how the company can build, deliver, support and continuously adapt and improve its products and services to foster the Peachjar mission and drive retention and growth.”

In addition to assisting with the launch of safety-related and project-based ed tech solutions, Tom was also a founding partner of ConnectED where he served as President until the company was acquired by Blackboard in 2008. He went on to serve as the President and COO of the rebranded Blackboard Connect. Tom also worked as head of sales for NextLesson, a K-12 developer of personally relevant curriculum with over 8,000 lessons based on student interests and for Social Sentinel, an agency providing campus safety and security tools and resources in K-12 and Higher Education.
